With Tri-Point coordinating the rigging for your production, you can rest assured that the rigging will be safe, reliable, installed on time, and cost effective.

We can be involved in a variety of areas of film production, from below the floor (like with tank set-ups) up to the roof and beyond. We can design, supply and install your rigging as needed.

Rigging Coordinators & Consultants

Our Directors, Dave Hird, Warren Jones and Graeme Dew, have over 90 years of rigging experience between them, with more than 60 of those specialising in rigging for screen.

Graeme Dew

Graeme has been the Rigging Coordinator for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here (UK & German shows) since 2009, as well as for The Quiet American, Matrix 2 & 3, and the final installment of the Star Wars prequel. He was recently Key Rigging Grip for Netflix’s Pieces of Her.

Warren Jones

Warren was the Rigging Coordinator for King Kong (Australia), Avatar 1-3 (NZ), The Hobbit (NZ), Ghost in the Shell (NZ), Mortal Engines (NZ), The Meg (NZ) and Star Wars to name a few. Warren has spent much of his recent career shooting features films across New Zealand.

David Hird

Dave was Rigging Coordinator on Stealth, Where the Wild Things Are, the Wolverine, Gods of Egypt, Peter Rabbit 1 & 2, and Three Thousand Years of Longing, spending much of his career working as Rigging Coordinator on feature films shooting out of Fox Studios in Sydney.

Art Department

Set support scaffold, scaffold rostrum, underwater rostrum, flown or ground supported ceilings or backings, tab track, heavy duty track, practical access, safe working access, handrails and inertia reels.



Lighting

Suspended or ground supported truss or scaffold tube grids, indoor and outdoor light boxes, mobile or fixed scaffold towers, boom and scissor lift fit-outs and operation, truss frames to support scrims, crane rigs, sail cloths, drapes and camouflage netting.



Camera

Decking, moving or locked-off truss, winch or counterweighted descender rigs, harnesses for camera crew and safeties for camera gear.



VFX

A huge range of Digital Green and Digital Blue screens, truss frames, flown or ground supported screens, available for supply and install or dry hire.



Grips

All rigging, scaffold decking, underwater decking, rolling decks, span decks, ramps, bomac track systems, drapes, tarps, crane decks, practical access, stair access, handrails, harnesses, black outs, counterweight.



Special FX
