Another year, another NYE in the Park at Victoria Park in Camperdown, Sydney.

This year, the main stage featured:
Lead by Project Manager & Director, Dave Hird and Crew Boss, Mick Traynor, the team pulled together during an unprecedented busy period to get the job done.

Tri-Point once again provided staging, truss, motors and production rigging for Festival X 2022 at the Sydney Showgrounds.
This year’s staging included a bespoke stage and PA towers under the flyover of the Charles Moses Woodchop Stadium, and a large video wall support in the Ampitheatre.
Tri-Point also provided equipment and riggers for the venue rigging in Halls 2-4 and Halls 5/6.
Working for Frontier Touring, Tri-Point provided and installed our 15m Bass Stage with cantilever, truss video wings, and plain black valance skin, to suit the Midnight Oil concert in October 2022 at ANU University Canberra.
In situ over two consecutive weekends, the stage was also used for a University Open Day part at the site as well.
Tri-Point also completed the production rigging for both shows as well.
Tri-Point crew put in the work for this Temporary Studio space build on a private lot in Western Sydney for the latest Mad Max installment; Furiosa’s origin story.
Standing 40m long, 20m wide, and 15m high, with a 50 tonne rigging capacity, Tri-Point designed the “Super Tent” using our StageCo Classic black steel with a custom roof.
With less than 2 weeks notice to fabricate and install the super structure, Tri-Point’s Site Crew, Yard Crew, Office Staff, Suppliers and Director’s all put in a HUGE effort to get this over the line in such a short space of time.
Shout out to our suppliers who helped pull this altogether:
Skins by Pattons
Cranes by Two-Way Cranes
Trucks by Kevin Henderson
Tele Ops by Force Events
Enginering by VDM
Tri-Point also serviced the movie throughout production at multiple other locations, providing truss, motors, rigging, scaffolding, blue screens, flyswatters, and a variety of other structures to multiple different departments.
