Tri-Point were asked to create screen supports for some big screens down at Darling Harbour in Sydney during the Rugby World Cup 2012. Not one, not two, but three screens were joined together and constructed using our heavy duty alloy box truss with chain motors to lift the screens into place.
The entire structure was built on a barge offsite. It was then travelled to site so that many thousands of people could enjoy the games live at Darling Harbour.

Tri-Point worked with Brisbane Festival on their “Santos City of Light” program for 2 consecutive years; 2011 and 2012. Each time, enormous scaffold supports were required for laser, lighting and technical support during the festival. Using our event-style scaffolding, we built the structures offsite with cranes onto a barge, and then the entire set up was manoevred into place. Many thanks to Tri-Point Director, Graeme Dew, and his team of hard working scaffolders who managed the project from design through to implementation.
