About this Project

The funky Holden Cruze TVC was shot at Stage 7 of Fox Studios in 2014. Art directed by Aaron Crothers, with advertising agency Revolver, our brief was to create overhead rigging support (the easy part), and upright, subtle rigging support for hundreds of flurescent tubes as they changed from white to red within shot (the hard part).

Thanks to some tricky design work, and some awesome welding from our in-house manufacturer Tony, the unusual brief was delivered without a hitch.

About this Project

Tri-Point were approached by Timomatic’s team to put together the flying rig for his ‘Parachute’ video, using the beautifully industrial space at the Australian Technology Park in Redfern.

The six flying dancers had to descend simultaneously from the roof, requiring a twelve person rigging team for the choreographed descent.

Expertly designed by Dave Hird, and called by Sebastian Dickins, all of our crew had a fantastic time working with Timomatic and his team.

About this Project

Tri-Point provided green screens, rigging design and flying harnesses for the Cockatoo Island Film Festival promo reel, all shot on location at Turbine Hall on Cockatoo Island during 2012.

Using performer harnesses, dynex rope and rigging, we designed a 2-person, simultaneous flying rig for the TVC shoot.

About this Project

Want to fly a heavy four-wheel drive into a remote location using a helicopter? Sure, no problem.

Tri-Point was approached to provide rigging solutions for a Toyota stills shoot ‘One Way In’, including bespoke truss structures, car braking mechanisms and purpose built steels.

With a big thank-you to gun photographer Simon Davidson for his beautiful capture of this epic project.
