“I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here” has taken out a coveted gong at this year’s Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards.
Tri-Point Director, Graeme Dew, and his team of Tri-Point riggers have run the onset rigging department for the popular TV show, shot in Northern NSW, since 2009.
The ITV Studios production beat Dragons’ Den, Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds, and The Real Full Monty to take out the BAFTA for the Reality & Constructed Factual category.

Released in November 2018, Aquaman is an American superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is the sixth film in the DC Extended Universe. The film was directed by James Wan and principal photography began in Australia in May 2017, taking place at Village Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast, Queensland, with additional production teams in Canada, Italy and Morocco. Filming concluded the following October.
Tri-Point was a key supplier to principal photography, providing a variety of rigging and construction equipment to a number of departments at Village Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast of Queensland.

Celebrating 20 Years of Tri-Point
Twenty years ago, our three Directors joined forces to deliver the rigging for Farscape; a TV series shot at Fox Studios in Sydney. And the rest… is history.
We had a great time celebrating our big birthday at at the Beresford in Surry Hills with all our extended Tri-Point family and friends. Special thanks to Tom at Pattons for the epic Tri-Point media wall, the one and only Abi Tabone for making the EPIC Tri-Point birthday cake, Merivale for hosting us in their awesome event space, and to everyone who came along to celebrate with us.
We would just like to say a huge and heart-felt thank you to all our amazing clients, suppliers and crew who have helped us along the way to reach this wonderful milestone. We couldn’t have done it without you all.

Peter Rabbit is a live-action / computer-animated comedy film directed by Will Gluck and written by Rob Lieber and Gluck, based on the stories of Peter Rabbit created by Beatrix Potter. The film stars the voice of James Corden as the title character, with Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, Sam Neill, Daisy Ridley, Elizabeth Debicki, and Margot Robbie also starring.
Production began in Sydney in December 2016 with live action scenes filmed at Centennial Park. In March 2017, filming additionally took place at Central Railway Station, which was depicted as London’s Paddington Station.
Congratulations to Tri-Point Director, David Hird, and the Tri-Point rigging team, who provided key rigging services to the production on location.

Aside from being one of our resident comedians, Willie manages the preparation and maintenance of all of our equipment, for all of our projects and dry hires from our main warehouse in Sydney. Leading his team of warehouse crew, Willie has extensive knowledge of every single piece of equipment Tri-Point owns in it’s exceptionally large inventory of stock. With the best forklift skills in the biz, Tri-Point could not do what they do without him, so this is our little salute to the Fijian legend that is Willie Leong!
